Hi! I’m Corinn

................

I teach movement because I love to move.

I love the discipline of it, the artistry, the play. I love learning a new skill and feeling my body become a little more capable, a little more expressive, a little more free. I've always been someone who dances through everyday life. Moving to music whenever I hear it, stretching in maybe socially unacceptable moments, playing with movement because it feels so freaking good.

Jumping, spinning, playing through everyday.

My relationship with movement was shaped deeply by dance. I spent years training in and teaching ballet, and I still adore the precision, strength, grace, and beauty that comes from learning what the body can do.

But over the years, my movement practice has evolved.

My practice and teachings became less about what the body looks like and more about how the body feels

Through intuitive movement, meditation, breath, improvisation, and deepening my ability to listen, I tuned into another layer of being. I started to become more fluent in the subtle ways my body communicates—through sensation, impulse, tension, ease, emotion, energy, and the quiet knowing that arrives before words.

This fluency in communication with my body, my self on so many layers, has changed and will continue to change my movement practice and my dance style.

Moving with beauty has been and continues to be a large motivator but it's no longer the driving factor.

I've found that this kind of listening can open unexpected doors. It can help us understand ourselves more clearly. It can bring us into moments of flow, unlock creativity, soften the pressure to perform, and make space for a kind of playfulness that can be surprisingly transformative.

I'm still learning all of this myself.

I'm still learning to love my body not only for how it looks or what I can make it do, but for everything it allows me to experience—and for the ways it communicates with me every day. I'm still learning when to challenge myself and when to soften. I'm still learning how to distinguish between a voice that says try a little harder and one that says listen a little closer.

I don't think this is something we ever finish learning.

And that's what I love about it.

There is always another layer to discover.

My work is an invitation to explore some of those layers together—to move, play, listen, and become a little more curious about the incredible experience of being in a body.

I hope I get to help you transform the way you communicate with yourself and the myriad ways your life can change because of it:)
